Western Farmers Electric Cooperative. Candidates interested
in a specific position must complete an application for
employment. Please do not send us an application
if you are not applying for a specific job opening.
Resumes will not be accepted as an application; however,
they may be attached and submitted with a completed form.

Application Process
It is an objective of Western Farmers Electric Cooperative
(WFEC) to provide reliable electric service to our members.
In order to best accomplish this, we believe in hiring and/or
promoting the best-qualified person for the job.
It is the policy of WFEC to only accept applications
for current job openings. Unsolicited resumes or applications
are not accepted, and they are not retained on file. This
includes any application or resume submitted for any position
not currently listed on the company job board.
If you are interested and qualified for a specific position
currently posted on our web site, a WFEC application form
can be downloaded from this web site. This application should
be completed, signed and mailed to the following address

In order for your application to receive consideration,
it must be completed and received in Human Resources by
the closing date. Your qualifications will be evaluated
based on the information you provide on the application.
WFEC will not accept a resume in lieu of an application
form; however, a resume may be attached.
Human Resources will review all applications and forward
those that meet minimum requirements to the appropriate
personnel. Not every candidate who applies will be interviewed.
Applicants who need an accommodation for an interview should
request this at the time an interview appointment is scheduled.
Job offers are contingent upon satisfactory completion
of both a pre-employment drug screen and a post job offer
medical examination, so that work restrictions, if any,
are specified.
Applicants who are selected for an interview will be notified
by telephone. All others will receive a letter notifying
them of the status of their application. However, this may
take a few weeks depending on the number of candidates being
interviewed and the number of supervisors who may be involved
in the interview process.
