Meet Our Team
Manager, Marketing & Communications
No … Mark does not bleed orange. But he is a proud alumni of Oklahoma State University where he graduated back in 1985 with a degree in Agriculture Engineering Technology. Mark jokingly says he is slowly going "broke" as his son is now following in his footsteps attending OSU and his daughter plans to attend OSU in the Fall.
Mark enjoys being a part of an “evolving” marketing team created to help shape and prepare Western Farmers and their distribution cooperatives for the uncertain energy markets that lie ahead. He comes to Western Farmers by way of one of her distribution cooperatives, Alfalfa Electric Cooperative, where he served as Manager of Engineering and Key Accounts for over 15 years. With an additional 12 years of experience at Western Farmers, Mark has a combined total of over 27 years of experience in the electric utility industry.
Recently Mark was elected as a member of Leadership Oklahoma (LOK) - Class 21 . LOK brings together 50 of the state's most outstanding leaders for 10 issues-oriented sessions that address critical challenges facing the state. Mark is also an alternate on the Touchstone Energy Board of Directors, a member of the Touchstone Energy Business Development Committee.
In his spare time … Mark and his lovely wife spend most of their time with their children, at their church, and attending sporting events. They reside in Blanchard Oklahoma where his hobbies include golf, hunting, and raising his notorious salsa garden.
