Oklahoma Living Managing Editor Anna Politano recently visited Western Farmers Electric Cooperative (WFEC) headquarters in Anadarko, OK. Politano was conducting research for her feature article in the October edition of the magazine entitled, “You’ve Got The Power”. She interviewed WFEC Chief Executive Office Gary Roulet and toured the electric plant nearby. WFEC is a generation and transmission (G&T) cooperative that provides essential electric service to 22 member cooperative, Altus Air Force Base, and other power users.
This gallery contains still photos of a WFEC line crew building transmission line to serve a pump station near Cromwell, Oklahoma.
There has been additional interest in how the animal deterrent fences are constructed. We have added an additional gallery showing a TransGard fence set up at one of the substations.
